Suitable feeding level in the puerperium of dietfor Lac Son chicken
Three experiments were conducted to determine suitable feeding level in the puerperium on the feed rations for Lac Son chicken. Two feeding levels of Ri chicken and 110% Ri chicken for chicken from 9 weeks to 20 weeks were tested. Each experiment had been repeated three times with 50 chickens/repetition. The result showed that the highest laying rate in both experiment groups is at 29 to 30 weeks of age from 53.33% to 54.74%. The average laying rate in the feeding levels of Ri chicken and 110% Ri chicken is 31.97% and 32.06%, respectively. The egg performance of the feeding levels of Ri chicken and 110% Ri chicken obtained 116.44 and 116.87 eggs, respectively. Feed comsumption/10 eggs is 3.70 kg and 3.72 kg. The optimum level of feeding for Lac Son chicken in the puerperium may be recommended at the same feeding levels of Ri chicken.
