The study was carried out at Thuy Phuong Poultry Research Center in the period of 2021-2024 to select and create HTP colored feathered chickens from Ho chickens and TP chickens. Using a radical hybrid method to create 3/4 of the Ho chicken genes, 1/4 of the TP chicken genes. Through 4 generations of selective mass orientation at 8 weeks of age. The results have been selected to create an HTP-colored feathered chicken line with feather color at 01 day old pale yellow, at adulthood the male is ripe plum color, bud crest and flag crest, and the female is bright dried banana leaf color and owl color. Improved 8-week-old mass, genetic progress for males is 71.24 g/generation; females are 67.87 g/generation. The genetic coefficient is high (h2=0.47). the weight of 8 weeks old to the 3rd generation of males reached 1244.89 g (an increase of 228.32 g compared to the starting generation); the female reached 1053.01 g (an increase of 198.24 g compared to the starting generation). At the end of 20 weeks of age, the weight of the male reached 3025.10 g; females reached 2001.31 g. Stable egg yield reached 106.94-107.64 eggs/68 million. Other indicators of feeding rate, feed consumption, and hatching quotas are stable through selected generations.
